Kim’s Sampler		Needle Felting
Designed as a teaching quilt, this class covers hand and machine applique, paper piecing and traditional piecing techniques. Students will have all the skills necessary to make the pictured quilt by the end of the class.		Learn the basics of making a needle-felted picture. Class fee of $30 includes a backing and material to do your piece, plus needle and use of our foam.

Hand Applique		Labyrinth Quilt
Learn the basics of basting your pieces and using an invisible tack stitch to applique. This technique is both relaxing and satisfying. Choose from a variety of runner or wallhanging kits (new pattern design shown). $10 class fee plus kit.		No Diamonds and no ‘Y’ seams, but a striking quilt that is easy! Can be made in sizes from 58″ square for a wallhanging, all the way to a King size quilt (and sizes in between). I am using beautiful batiks for a contemporary look, but traditional prints will work. Class Cost: $30 (includes pattern) plus supplies (10% off fabrics, price depends on size of quilt needed).

Vintage Threads Club		Beginner Lap Quilt
New Club for those who love hand work. Each month we will make a small project using traditional methods, hand embroidery, english paper piecing, hand piecing and applique among some of the ideas (open to ideas). We will start with a traditional wool penny rug candle mat in January. Class fee: $10/month plus supplies ($19.95 for first kit).		Learn the basics of the 1/4″ seam, pressing and cutting while making a simple throw using one of our beautiful pre-cut ‘Jelly Rolls’ or ‘Bali Pops’ (your choice of colour). This is a great way to get an introduction to quilting and quickly have a finished project. 6 MAX in class, 2-3 classes ($10 each class plus jelly roll $44-50).
